Quick & Easy Macaroni Cheese

This recipe for macaroni cheese is quick, easy and delicious. Perfect as an after school meal for hungry children 🙂

Serves 6 | Preparation time: 5 mins | Cooking time: 25 mins

Ingredients:

  • 500g Macaroni
  • 410g Evaporated Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground White Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1.5 cup Cheddar Cheese (Grated)

Method:

  • Cook the macaroni as per instructions on packet.
  • Once the macaroni is cooked, add the evaporated milk, salt, pepper, nutmeg and 1 cup of the cheese. Stir until everything is well combined.
  • Transfer to a large oven dish, and sprinkle over the remaining cheese.
  • Bake at 220c/200c Fan assisted for 15 minutes or until the top layer is golden brown.
