This recipe for macaroni cheese is quick, easy and delicious. Perfect as an after school meal for hungry children 🙂
Serves 6 | Preparation time: 5 mins | Cooking time: 25 mins
Ingredients:
- 500g Macaroni
- 410g Evaporated Milk
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground White Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1.5 cup Cheddar Cheese (Grated)
Method:
- Cook the macaroni as per instructions on packet.
- Once the macaroni is cooked, add the evaporated milk, salt, pepper, nutmeg and 1 cup of the cheese. Stir until everything is well combined.
- Transfer to a large oven dish, and sprinkle over the remaining cheese.
- Bake at 220c/200c Fan assisted for 15 minutes or until the top layer is golden brown.
